Logging Companies

Viking Timber Company was the first outside logging company to set up business in the Valley.

The Company went bankrupt in 1940 and many of the unpaiid workers jjoiined ttogettherr tto fforrm tthe Northern Co-operative Timber and Mills Association. Later re-organized as Northcop Logging Company Ltd.
